Arcadalo is a collection of ten original arcade games for iPhone. If something isn't working or you have a question, email contact@chardie.co.uk and you'll get a reply from the person who made it, usually within a day or two.
The ten games
Arcadalo redraws ten arcade classics from scratch: Rally, Shatterball, Flipper Frenzy, Sky Squadron, and six more, each rebuilt with its own controls, its own scoring, and its own short "just one more go" loop. There are no levels to clear. Every game is about beating your own best run.
What's free, and what the unlock includes
Free, forever: three games, played as often as you like, with no ads and no time limit.
The Arcadalo unlock is a one-time payment of £1.99 (or the equivalent in your local currency) that never renews. It opens the other seven games for good. Every locked game also gives you one free trial run, and a different locked game is free for everyone each day, so you can try before you buy.
Restoring a purchase
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open More → Restore Purchases and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If you bought it through Family Sharing, the organiser's purchase needs to be shared with your group.
Game Center
Game Center is entirely optional and is only used for leaderboards and achievements. Every game keeps your scores on your device whether you sign in or not, and declining or signing out changes nothing about how the games play.
Common questions
Can I try a game before buying the unlock?
Yes. Every locked game gives you one free trial run, and a different locked game is free for everyone each day, so you can see if you like it before you pay for the unlock.
I bought the unlock, but it's not showing on my other device
Open More → Restore Purchases and make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on. If you bought it through Family Sharing, the organiser's purchase needs to be shared with your group.
There is no sound, or the haptics aren't working
Check the sound and haptics toggles in the app's settings, and check your device isn't muted or in a mode that suppresses haptics. Arcadalo plays effects through the media volume.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. Everything Arcadalo stores lives only on your device, so deleting the app removes it completely.
