A new paper, every day.
Each edition brings five puzzles on one theme, the same for everyone, with up to 15 stars to earn and an edition streak to keep. The Mini, a 5×5 crossword, takes about two minutes. On Saturdays there's a big 15×15 crossword with a weekly leaderboard of the fastest times. And from 1 December, an Advent calendar: a Christmas puzzle behind each of 24 doors.

Eleven puzzles, one paper.
- CrosswordReal newspaper grids, symmetrical with black squares, from 9×9 up to 15×15. Themed clues in British English.
- Arrow WordsThe clues sit inside the grid, each with an arrow pointing to where its answer goes.
- CodewordThe cipher crossword. Every letter is a number from 1 to 26. A few are given; crack the rest.
- CryptogramA famous line in code. Guess a letter and every match fills in. Proverbs, Shakespeare and more.
- Letter HiveSeven letters, one in the centre. Make words with the centre letter, and find the one that uses them all.
- Word LadderChange one letter at a time to climb from one word to another. Every rung must be a real word.

Hand-built, not generated.
Every category is hand-curated and every clue is written by a person, not generated by a machine that has never eaten a biscuit. The app speaks 17 languages, and Spanish, German, Japanese, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Turkish, French and Russian get their own hand-built puzzle content: thousands of native words and clues written for that language rather than translated from English.
Solve one and the reward is the point: no confetti cannons, no coins raining across the screen. Just a quiet, earned "Solved."

The daily paper and the Puzzle Book go straight to a printer or an e-ink tablet, with bookmarks to jump between puzzles.
