How to play Bridges
Link the islands with bridges so every number is met and everything is connected.
The rules
- A number on an island says how many bridges touch it.
- Bridges run straight along a row or column. Two islands can have one or two bridges between them.
- Bridges may not cross each other, and all the islands must end up in one connected group.
A quick example
Two islands that each need 2 are joined by a double bridge.
Tips
- An 8 needs a double bridge in all four directions.
- A 1 beside another 1 cannot join, or the pair would be cut off from everything else.
- Start at the corners: a 4 in a corner must have a double bridge each way.
Most puzzles take 5 to 15 minutes.
