How to play Cross Math
A little crossword where the answers are sums.
The rules
- The grid holds two equations across and two down, sharing some numbers.
- Place the tiles from the tray into the empty squares.
- When every equation is true, the puzzle is solved. Each one reads left to right or top to bottom.
A quick example
4 + ? = 9, so the 5 tile goes in the gap.
Tips
- Start with the equation that has only one gap. It tells you exactly which tile fits.
- Each tile you place fills in part of a second equation, so the next one gets easier.
- For multiplication and division, check which tiles divide evenly first.
Most puzzles take 2 to 6 minutes.
