How to play Slitherlink
Draw a single loop through the dots. Easy to learn, hard to put down.
The rules
- Join neighbouring dots with lines to make one closed loop.
- The loop never crosses itself or branches.
- A number says how many of that square's four sides are part of the loop.
A quick example
A 3 has all but one side on the loop. A 1 has just one.
Tips
- A 0 means none of its sides are used. Cross them all out.
- Two 3s side by side share their middle edge, and the outer ends of both go on the loop.
- Every dot has either two lines or none. A dot with one line has to continue.
Most puzzles take 5 to 15 minutes.
