How to play Number Path
Thread one unbroken chain from 1 to the last number.
The rules
- Fill every square so the numbers run 1, 2, 3 up to the total.
- Each number touches the next one: across, up, down or diagonally.
- The printed numbers are fixed waypoints.
A quick example
From 1 the chain winds round to 5 and spirals in to 9. Every step touches the last.
Tips
- Tap a number to pick up the chain there, then tap a neighbour to place the next number.
- Count the gap between two printed numbers: 3 and 7 need exactly three squares between them.
- Corners and edges have fewer neighbours, so they're easier to pin down.
- Tap the end of your chain again to take it back a step.
Most puzzles take 3 to 10 minutes.
